Panel Paintings
The pictures you
see here are hand-painted on panels, made from paper-mache and made in the same
way, style and technique as the lacquer boxes.
Although the scenes are out of traditional Russian folk-stories or fairy-tales,
these panel paintings will not be found full scale in Russia. They have been
made exclusively for "De MiniLaars", as a result of many requests from
customers, who wanted a painting on the wall of their dollhouse to match either
the lacquer box they had obtained or the black furniture.
